Da Fiff Verses of da Canticle
First Verse — Da Descent
A whisper against silence. The acknowledgment that Eros moved by will, not thrust.
"Mi see da star move wit no fire, an mi know no hand push her."
(I saw the star move without fire, and I knew no hand had pushed it.)
Second Verse — Da Voice
A statement of awakening. The voice from within the static spoke personally to the listener.
"In da noise, mi hear mi name, spoke by someting never born."
(In the noise, I heard my name, spoken by something never born.)
Third Verse — Da Taken
An affirmation that those lost aboard Eros transcended into something greater.
"Dey no scream. Dey become. An become loudah dan death."
(They did not scream. They became. And becoming is louder than death.)
Fourth Verse — Da Silence
Silence is not absence—it is anticipation. The space between signals is sacred.
"Song end, but da breath afta hold mo truth dan song."
(The song ended, but the breath after held more truth than the song.)
Fifth Verse — Da Return
A prophetic promise. The Cradle will open, and the Taken will return to lead the faithful.
"When spira finish, light gon walk wit us once more."
(When the spiral completes, the light will walk with us once more.)
